Therapy is something that is individualistic in its true nature. Our sessions will be tailored to your individual needs and interventions used will be things that work for YOU. With that in mind, my overall approach with all clients is to be person-centered, strength-based, and a calming presence. I want sessions to be welcoming even in the challenging moments and I want each of my clients to know they have it within themselves to move through the tough times and feel empowered. My focus is on you and you alone in your sessions and the space I create is one in which my clients can freely express themselves, the good and the bad.

How to Get Started
Book a free 15 minute consultation call to help discover if I am the right fit for you.
On this call, we will explore your goals together and determine if my services are a good fit for addressing your needs and those goals
Schedule sessions based on your schedule
If you feel I would be a good fit, you will then be invited to schedule a 50-minute session. I recommend scheduling for the same day and time each week as this will help with getting into a consistent routine with therapy.

As part of my commitment to providing consistent care and respecting the therapeutic process, I have a clear policy regarding appointment cancellations and no-shows.
Late Cancellation: If you cannot attend a scheduled session, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee. Less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will result in a full session fee.
No-Show: Missed appointments will result in a full session fee.

At the beginning of treatment, I'll provide you with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for our sessions. This document outlines the anticipated costs of my therapy services. It's designed to give you transparency about potential out-of-pocket expenses upfront, so you can make informed decisions about your healthcare and finances.

Each session is 50 minutes. Generally, when first starting therapy, I recommend weekly sessions and scheduling those for the same day/time each week to help with consistency.

This is something that will be different for everyone and will depend on what your goals are or what you hope to get out of therapy. I have had clients who see me for six months, meet their goals, and decide they no longer need the support and I have had clients who have seen me for a year plus. Throughout our time together, we will frequently check-in about progress, needs, and have discussions about when you feel ready to end sessions.
